PMA A-NZ offers a lower registration fee for Australian and New Zealand students to attend the PMA Fresh Connections conference day and Trade Show. PMA Fresh Connections is the premier networking, educational and business event for the entire fresh fruit, vegetable and floral industries of Australia and New Zealand. Not only will you learn a great deal, you will rub shoulders with some of the industry’s most successful and innovative representatives and potential employers. Designed to attract the best and brightest students to begin a career in the fresh produce industry, the PMA A-NZ Career Pathways program connects the Australian and New Zealand fresh produce industry to future leaders by providing ten university students the opportunity to attend PMA Fresh Connections Conference and Trade Show.

Industry mentor

Mentoring is an essential part of this program. An industry mentor is assigned to each student to serve as an industry advisor, answer questions, introduce them to other industry professionals, and simply help them embrace the myriad of opportunities and rewards the produce industry has to offer.

Eligibility & Applications

The PMA A-NZ Career Pathways program hand-selects universities for participation. From each school, 1-3 undergraduate or post-graduate students are selected by their Faculty to participate in the program. The student selection process varies with each school. This allows PMA Australia-New Zealand to not only maintain a manageable and successful experience each year, but to also create an intimate environment that fosters personal development and camaraderie.
